DFOCUS Prospect Hunter | AI business development, cold prospecting and opportunity research

DFocus Prospect Hunter helps small businesses, studios and sales teams find potential clients, research public business needs and organize sales leads. It prioritizes recent signals and keeps sources, dates and review status attached, so your team can decide who to follow up with and why.

DFocus Prospect Hunter is an AI sales prospecting system for researching new clients and organizing cold outreach. It connects public need signals, source checks and CRM follow-up, helping your team understand why a prospect may be relevant and what to verify before making contact.

Connect prospect research to company records, opportunities and next actions. We are refining the workflow and can discuss a scoped pilot. Public self-service SaaS subscriptions are not yet available.

Discuss your client prospecting needs
AI-assisted business prospect research and new-client discovery

Source-backed opportunities, not just another list of names

DFocus focuses on why a company may be worth contacting now, where that signal came from, and what the sales team should check next. Accurate company data, a current business need and willingness to buy are different claims. A product name alone does not establish lead quality.

Recent signals, with dates you can check

DFocus Prospect Hunter researches recent business activity and organizes reasons to reach out, source context, and follow-up work. Research and end-to-end delivery remain in testing; public SaaS subscriptions are not available.

Cross-check the need and the company

Check the original publication and its date, then corroborate company identity and contact information against independent public sources. Two sites copying the same announcement are not independent evidence. Missing pages, conflicting dates and unclear contacts stay pending.

This is our product direction and acceptance standard. Validation is ongoing; it does not mean every record has completed every check.

Compare deliverables under the same conditions

Company directories, existing CRM records and recent-need research serve different purposes
ApproachWhat it helps answerWhat still needs checking
Company or job-title directoryWhich companies or roles could be relevant?Current company, role and contact accuracy; whether a need exists.
Existing customer CRMWhat happened in past interactions, and who owns the next step?Whether historical interest is still current.
DFocus Prospect HunterWhich recent signals merit investigation, where is the evidence, and what comes next?Per-record source, date, company, need and contact checks, followed by buyer confirmation.

These are delivery models, not claims about a named competitor. Compare the same industry, time period and sample size. Measure accessible sources, current dates, need fit, duplicates, contact validity and research time. We have not completed a controlled head-to-head benchmark or established a top accuracy or conversion ranking.

Turn prospect research into a clear next step

A useful sales prospecting system helps you identify potential customers and keep follow-up organized. DFocus connects lead research with CRM-style opportunity tracking, so sources, context and next steps stay with the record instead of getting lost across spreadsheets and chat threads.

Identify source and buying intent separately

Keep general company research, hiring signals and explicit requests for outside help in separate categories. A public contact or a technical observation is not evidence that a company is ready to buy.

Keep Company and Opportunity Records Connected

The same company can be associated with different cases and research records, retaining the source, stage, responsible person, and next steps. Unverified company identities and needs will remain in a pending verification status.

Give Every Next Step an Owner

By using to-do lists, deadlines, and records, bosses, sales staff, and agents can know whether the next step is to supplement evidence, confirm needs, prepare proposals, or postpone contact.

Review Outreach Before It Goes Out

Track drafts, approvals, mailings, and responses separately. Operate according to approved recipients and rules, and do not automatically treat email notifications or website screenings as request confirmations.

Search and usage records

Record the source, usage limits, and results feedback; when the source is exhausted, the limit is reached, or the evidence is insufficient, retain the limits for team members to make a judgment.

Research and business results are statistically analyzed separately.

Technical observations, buyer responses, demand confirmations, and transaction details are all kept on a separate basis. The focus is on verified progress, not just adding a few new documents or sending a few letters.

Before sending a thousand cold emails, check who has a relevant need

Give your team a reason to reach out. Review the original need, its date and a matching company or contact before preparing an introduction. A useful prospect record explains what is known, what still needs checking and what to do next.

What do we mean by an AI business development system? Prospect Hunter is being developed to help small teams find potential clients, research prospect lists and organize AI cold prospecting. It connects public business signals with source checks, company records and follow-up tasks. It supports your team’s research; it does not promise confirmed buyers or automatic sales.

Choose the client-finding task that fits your business

Studios and freelancers: find project opportunities

Start with one service, such as web design, graphic design or marketing. Research public requests that fit your work and record why an introduction may be relevant.

Small businesses: reach new customers

Define your industry, location and ideal customer. Research business information and recent signals, then separate potential opportunities from existing customer records.

Sales teams: build a usable prospect list

Keep company details, sources, publication dates and review status together. Check contact details and duplicates before preparing outreach.

Owners and teams: keep follow-up moving

Give each opportunity an owner, a stage and a next action. Keep notes and replies available so a team handoff does not mean starting the research over.

These are pilot scenarios, not a claim that every industry has been validated. Prospect Hunter supports finding clients; it is not a freelance marketplace, a job board or a service that sells confirmed buyers.

AI-assisted prospecting: from research to follow-up

DFOCUS Prospect Hunter is an AI business development system we’re building and testing for small professional-service teams. It supports AI-assisted cold prospecting: researching potential clients, reviewing public business signals, and organizing reasons to reach out, source references and follow-up tasks. Feature availability depends on the development stage and the scope agreed on for a pilot.

Who may benefit from AI-assisted business development?

AI-assisted client development for small professional service teams

Prospect Hunter is being developed for small service teams that know what they can deliver but need a more consistent way to find potential clients and keep outreach organized.

Freelancers and independent professionals

Research companies that may need your defined service, such as web design, graphic design, marketing or technology support. Public signals are research leads, not assigned or guaranteed jobs.

Studios and small B2B teams

Start with one service and one target customer group. Keep source links, dates, review notes and next steps together so prospect research can be handed off without starting over.

Small-business owners and sales teams

Organize new-customer research alongside CRM-style company records, opportunity stages and follow-up tasks. A person still confirms fit, timing, budget and willingness to talk.

A clear service, a defined customer group and a reviewable task make a better pilot starting point than a broad request to “find more leads.”

Freelance platforms, contact lists and AI prospecting solve different problems

Compare what each approach actually provides, what work remains for your team and whether a public signal has been confirmed as an active need.

What to compareFreelance or outsourcing platformPurchased contact listDFocus Prospect Hunter direction
Starting pointProjects or requests posted, invited or matched under that platform’s current rules.Company or contact fields supplied under the seller’s stated coverage and terms.Research into public company activity and signals that may justify a conversation.
What you receiveA way to review or respond to opportunities; access and proposal rights vary by platform.Records that still need checking for freshness, fit, duplicates and contact validity.Research context linked to sources, dates, review status and a suggested next step.
Work still requiredUnderstand the request, prepare a proposal, confirm terms and deliver the work.Research each record, identify a relevant reason to reach out and manage follow-up.Review the evidence, confirm need and contact details, then decide whether and how to reach out.
Important limitationPaying for access does not mean you will win a project. Rules and fees differ.A listed company or person is not necessarily looking to buy or outsource now.A public signal is not confirmed buying intent. The full workflow is still being validated; public SaaS signup is not live.
May fit whenYou want to respond to visible projects and can consistently prepare proposals. You have a defined audience and can independently verify and work the records. You want a repeatable process for researching a clear B2B segment and tracking follow-up.

Platform fees, member benefits and proposal rules change, so check each provider’s current official terms before comparing cost. These are different delivery approaches, not a measured ranking of named vendors.

Learn the difference between a lead and a confirmed opportunity

Six Steps from Research to Follow-Up

Define who to look for this time.

Define the industry, service needs, region, and exclusion criteria. The data sources, demand criteria, and contact information need to be adjusted for different industries; avoid using the same script for all companies.

Search and retain evidence

The agent collects clues from available and permitted sources, recording the source, time, and restrictions. The execution method depends on the source, permissions, and usage; no unrestricted scraping of the entire network is guaranteed.

Verify the company and its needs

Differentiate between company websites, published content, technical observations, and buyer responses. Research can serve as preparation for our first conversation; unconfirmed needs should not be escalated into purchasing intentions.

Establishing a company and cases

Return the data to the workbench, retaining the source category, current stage, responsible person, and next step to reduce redundant research and data scattering.

After review, contact with external parties will be made.

Prepare, send, and verify contact records in accordance with the approved rules. If the results are unclear, a request to stop is made, or the evidence is insufficient, return the records to the team members first and do not resend them.

Follow-up and feedback

Record responses, next steps, reasons for suspension, and reasons for closing the case. Provide verified results for future research and reference. If no response is received, retain the case for confirmation and do not automatically complete the transaction.

Spend less time rebuilding research and more time talking to prospects

Repeated company searches, copied contact details and scattered follow-up notes take time away from sales conversations. DFocus keeps companies, cases and tasks together, helping teams prepare research summaries, review outreach drafts and hand off the next step.

The workspace, approval and duplicate-send controls, and read-only inbox connection have an existing foundation. Reply handling, production integration and operational quality are still being validated. People approve external commitments within the agreed scope.

Evaluate research time, repeated work and missed follow-ups on the same set of tasks, then track replies and confirmed needs separately. We have not published a measured time-saving percentage.

Traceability means checking the source, date and review status

A useful opportunity should explain why now is a reasonable time to reach out. Our acceptance criteria separate the original need, publication date, company identity, public contact details and review outcome. Hiring signals are not automatically outsourcing requests, and a source-backed need is not a confirmed purchase.

DFocus implementation update (Traditional Chinese) · Public implementation status as of October 31, 2026 (JSON)

These are publisher records, not independent certification. Limited original-page retrieval has succeeded; end-to-end validation and long-term performance tracking are ongoing. Suitable de-identified demand examples can be added later with their original sources, dates and review results. Internal status records are not evidence of buyer intent.

Planned: an AI team discussion with a human decision-maker

The proposed discussion space would bring research, analysis and follow-up perspectives into one place, then consolidate missing information and suggested next actions for the owner to review. Execution would remain subject to approval.

The team chat interface has not been developed. Individual role testing does not mean group chat is live, and agreement between AI assistants does not establish a fact. Original evidence and human confirmation remain essential.

Concept: a future AI team discussion with human approval
AI-generated future concept; team chat is not a live product feature.

What the Evidence Shows—and What It Doesn’t

File creation, research, and transaction are viewed separately.
project Verifiable content It cannot be directly inferred
Businesses / Cases / Pending Tasks Documentation and tracking interfaces, different types of workload. This does not mean that the other party has confirmed the request or agreed to be contacted.
Source and website screening Research basis, limitations, and results to be verified. Having website issues doesn't mean we're willing to outsource.
Sending and Interaction Records The status of a particular contact and subsequent processing. Sending something out does not equate to reading it, interest in it, or a sale.
Responses, Demand and Transactions Evidence must be established through actual responses, confirmations, and transaction data. The conversion rate is not calculated based on the number of applicants or model scores.

The pilot program will measure the total research time, traceability rate, duplicate/invalid rate, task completion status, response rate, and number of confirmed requests for each verified lead. The conversion rate will be calculated separately using a different denominator, observation period, and conversion definition; this page does not claim a verified conversion rate or guarantee revenue growth.

We're currently discussing business integration, with a future focus on cross-industry subscriptions.

Current stage: Assessment based on business needs

Currently, it's DFocus's proprietary system, which is continuously being improved. We can discuss importing similar processes locally, to the cloud, or in a hybrid manner. First, we need to identify the target customer group, available sources, work assignments, and existing CRM and mailing environments before defining delivery and acceptance procedures.

Refer to the AI Agent base budget and additional items . The single workflow price does not represent a complete Hunter module or a fixed one-time purchase price.

Future Direction: Cross-Industry Online Subscription

After the existing system is completed and accepted, we will evaluate the multi-industry rules, account permissions, business data isolation, usage, and subscription payment. Currently, public registration, online payment, or a guaranteed launch date are not yet available.

You can discuss your needs first, and don't treat the internal workbench as a publicly available SaaS that has already been launched.

Situations suitable for discussion first

This applies to B2B service providers, design and marketing teams, business software and equipment suppliers, manufacturing businesses, and small teams that need to compile inquiries about websites. Start by selecting one industry, one need, and a small number of tasks to pilot the program, then evaluate and expand accordingly.

Data sources and contact rules must be confirmed first.

When importing data, review the permitted sources, intended use, retention period, notification and cessation of contact arrangements, and confirm the platform terms and personal data processing requirements. Public visibility does not equate to unrestricted resale, cross-purpose use, or mass mailing; account information and unnecessary personal data should not be included in public case studies or model prompts.

Finding Clients, Lead Research and CRM: FAQs

What is DFocus Prospect Hunter?

DFocus Prospect Hunter is an AI sales prospecting tool being developed by DFocus. It connects potential-client research, public business signals, source checks and CRM follow-up. Leads retain their sources, dates and review status. Scoped projects and pilots are currently available for discussion.

How can AI help me find clients?

Start with the service you sell, your target industry, location and the needs you can address. Prospect Hunter helps research public signals, check company and contact details, and organize follow-up. Finding a company, confirming a need and winning the business are separate steps.

Can freelancers, small studios or students use it to find projects?

If you offer a defined service, such as web design, graphic design or marketing support, we can discuss a pilot focused on one service and one customer segment. We review source availability, cost and the time involved first. This is not a free freelance marketplace or a service that assigns you paid projects.

Is finding clients the same as finding an outsourcing provider?

They are different needs. Service providers look for clients and project opportunities; buyers look for vendors who can do the work. Prospect Hunter supports the provider’s research and follow-up. It does not handle marketplace listings, project payments or contract fulfillment.

How is this different from buying a business contact list?

A contact list typically supplies company or contact fields. DFocus aims to connect those records with recent need signals, source dates, review findings and a next action, so your team can check why a prospect may be relevant. Compare other tools using actual samples and their stated coverage.

Does the seven-day priority mean every lead is new and fully verified?

When a publication date is available, the research workflow prioritizes signals from roughly the past seven days; information from the prior 30 days may be retained as supporting context. The original source, date, company and contact are checked where available. A source check does not confirm that a company still wants to outsource, has a budget or is ready to buy. Those points require human confirmation. The end-to-end workflow is still being validated, so we do not claim every record is a fully verified buyer.

How does cross-checking make leads easier to verify?

Review the original request and its publication date, then use the company website or another independent public source to check the business and contact. Two copies of the same article are not independent evidence. An accurate company record, an active need and willingness to buy must be assessed separately.

Does a job posting mean a company wants to outsource?

A job posting can be a useful research signal, but it does not establish that the company wants an outside provider. Hiring signals and explicit outsourcing requests are kept separate. The company must confirm whether it is open to a conversation.

How does it work with a CRM?

A CRM usually stores customer records and interactions. Prospect Hunter connects early prospect research with company records, opportunities, tasks and follow-up. If you already use a CRM, we can review fields, permissions and integration options before considering any replacement.

Can it help with outreach, follow-up and team handoffs?

A scoped project can cover research summaries, outreach drafts, approval steps, reply organization and task handoffs. The existing foundation includes a workspace, approval and duplicate-send controls, and a read-only inbox connection. Reply handling and the complete workflow are still being validated; delivery depends on the agreed project scope.

Can it replace hiring a salesperson?

AI can support research, recordkeeping and follow-up tasks for owners and sales teams. People still need to make decisions about client conversations, pricing, negotiations and commitments. Start with a task whose results you can evaluate.

How should we measure whether AI prospecting helps?

Compare research time, traceable sources, duplicate records, completed follow-ups and actual replies on the same set of tasks. Track confirmed needs, proposals and sales separately. List size and email volume are not sales results, and we have not published a measured long-term time-saving or conversion uplift.

Can I sign up for a SaaS subscription now?

Public self-service signup and subscription payments are not live. We can discuss a scoped project or pilot. Industry fit, features, usage, pricing and acceptance criteria are agreed after reviewing your needs.

Do small businesses need an expensive GPU?

Not necessarily. We assess existing hardware, cloud services or a hybrid setup based on data volume, concurrent tasks, model requirements and data-sharing restrictions. Text-based prospect research has different requirements from image or video generation. Equipment and implementation costs are discussed for each project.

Is AI team chat available?

AI team chat is a planned feature and has not been developed. The chat illustration on this page is a concept, not a product screenshot. Delivered features depend on the agreed project scope and acceptance testing.

How do I discuss a prospecting project with DFocus?

Contact Welson at DFocus at +886 918 508 509 or welson@ecmd.com.tw. Share what you sell, your target customers, location and current outreach process so we can discuss a practical pilot and budget. Remote consultations are available.

How does an AI cold outreach system support sales prospecting?

It helps research potential clients your business has not contacted before, retain public sources and dates, check company and contact details, and organize outreach preparation and CRM tasks. DFocus scopes these steps around your sales workflow. Finding a company, confirming a need and receiving permission or a reply are distinct stages; research results still require review before outreach.

Questions to settle before a pilot

Is AI cold prospecting the same as buying a contact list?

A contact list provides company or contact fields. AI-assisted prospect research adds context: why a company may be relevant, where a signal came from, and what still needs checking. DFocus is developing these research and follow-up workflows; a business record is not a confirmed buyer.

What should a pilot demonstrate?

Agree on one service, one target customer group and a reviewable task. Check source access, dates, company fit, contact status and next actions. Track replies, confirmed needs and sales separately. Public self-service SaaS subscriptions are not available.
