Our Development Process

See how DFocus plans, designs, develops, tests, and delivers business websites and custom systems.

Eight stages of a website project

  1. Requirements interviews and recommendations

The company submits its requirements, discusses the brand, products, target customer group and website purpose, and sorts out feasible directions.

  2. Planning, Quote and Specification Confirmation

Draft a plan and initial quote, revise the functional specifications based on feedback, and confirm the scope, deliverables, and collaboration terms.

  3. Launching a project and Choosing a Project Contact

After confirming the collaboration, team members will be assigned tasks and schedules will be arranged, a unified point of contact will be established, and themes, copywriting, and materials will be compiled.

  4. Main visual design and inner page extension

Confirm the homepage or main visual direction, then extend the layout and information presentation of each inner page, and gradually proofread and confirm the design.

  5. Front-end slicing and browsing testing

The design was translated into a webpage, and the operation on mobile phones, tablets, and desktops, as well as the layout and dynamic effects, were confirmed within the agreed scope.

  6. System Development and Functional Testing

Develop functions and data structures in the test environment, and verify the workflow, operation permissions and necessary connections.

  7. Acceptance, correction and additional evaluation

Perform functional verification and debugging; new requirements need to have their costs and schedules confirmed separately to avoid confusion with the original acceptance scope.

  8. Official launch and warranty arrangements

After confirming the project details, arrangements will be made for the transfer of the hosting environment to the official server, online testing, and warranty. Specific terms will be subject to the individual contract.

The scheduling will be affected by additional requirements, provision of copy and materials, proofreading, and acceptance progress. Payment terms, scope of revisions, and warranty coverage will be confirmed on a case-by-case basis in the quote and contract.
